Cosplay Favorite - Stamp

Doesn't it bug when you people cosplay a character that they don't like, but they're only doing it for either popularity, to be noticed at a convention or gathering, or to do it to just get photo's?
I've come across a few people who do this and it makes me question why they'd do it anyways, though I already listed some ideas as to why.
I'm a cosplayer, but I will PROUDLY cosplay a character that isn't popular, well known, or even is considered 'out-dated' or 'years ago'. It doesn't make a difference to me.
If you like a character and are considering cosplaying them, then do it!
Cosplay is about cosplaying a character whom YOU love, not to gain popularity or anything of that sort.
Cosplay is meant for fun and to show off what sort of characters you like!
I love main characters, but I love minors as well!
Nonetheless, I cosplay a character that is my favorite and if you happen to like them, then I squee with joy, but if not, it doesn't bother me!
I love cosplaying MY favorites, NOT someone else's JUST for popularity or to be a WELL KNOWN character!
If someone doesn't know the character, just TELL them!
Again, cosplay who YOU like!
